The city of Rochefort is preparing to host an intense event: the Mayday Challenge. No fewer than 48 competitors will face off in an exceptional challenge dedicated to breathing apparatus rescue. The competition will take place in a specially designed 100m2 wooden structure, which will host one of the two main events.
The scenarios presented are not mere staged events but are directly inspired by real-life experiences, confronting firefighters with situations where they have found themselves trapped. The stakes are high, aiming to enhance skills in concrete and demanding situations.
Beyond performance, the ultimate goal of this challenge is to enable firefighters to improve their skills and master their interventions. This event is therefore crucial for their learning.
