The animation studio HARI, known for successful series like Grizzy and the Lemmings, has opened a new studio dedicated to comic books in Angoulême. The goal is to produce 4 to 6 original albums annually, drawing from its existing universes.

With twenty years of experience producing animation series broadcast worldwide, HARI now aims to bring its universes and characters to life on other platforms, starting with comic books. The studio, already established in Angoulême for fifteen years and employing around a hundred artists, is creating a dedicated comic book division.
This ambitious new editorial project will operate as a collective studio, with each team member contributing their expertise in scriptwriting, storyboarding, drawing, coloring, and lettering. The objective is to produce 4 to 6 original albums per year based on the studio's intellectual properties.
On Tuesday, November 3rd, at 5:30 PM at the Angoulême studio, co-founders Josselin Charier and Antoine Rodelet will present this new project. They will discuss the universes adapted into comics, the profiles sought, the studio's operational model, and collaboration opportunities, meeting potential future talents (scriptwriters, artists, colorists, letterers).
For those unable to attend, applications and portfolios can be sent to editions@hari-studios.com.
