The Charente Chamber of Agriculture is relaying the call for projects from the FSAB (Fonds de Sauvegarde des Abeilles) for the 2026-2027 period, which opened on September 15. This initiative aims to encourage projects for floral biodiversity and pollinators, with a application deadline set for November 15, 2026.
The call for projects specifically targets farmer-beekeeper partnerships. Selected projects will receive support for establishing honey-producing resources on farms, thereby contributing to the development and survival of pollinators, which are essential for biodiversity.
Since 2019, the FSAB has already supported hundreds of projects, leading to the sowing of 1,319 hectares of honey-producing areas, the planting of 9,967 meters of honey-producing hedges, and the disbursement of €158,619 to project leaders. The organization ensures transparency and monitoring of the funded initiatives.
