The Vézère-Monédières-Millesources Intercommunal Community (CCV2M) is engaged in the development of its Intercommunal Local Urban Plan (PLUi). This process emphasizes information and consultation with residents and local stakeholders.
Following discussions with municipal elected officials and the availability of consultation registers in town halls and at the CCV2M headquarters, targeted meetings with agricultural operators are planned by the end of 2026. Thematic workshops involving elected officials and resource persons will also take place.
From the second half of 2027, public meetings and open consultation sessions will mark the key stages of the study.
A priority for the area is to utilize existing built structures to meet housing needs. This can be achieved through the reinvestment of vacant properties and the conversion of old barns or agricultural buildings into housing, tourist accommodation, shops, or offices, through a change of destination mechanism.
Property owners with barns who wish to give them a new use are invited to participate in the consultation. They can request their building be identified in the future PLUi as susceptible to a change of destination.
