The Atlantica trade show, dedicated to outdoor hospitality, generates significant economic benefits for the Niortais agglomeration, with €1.24 million and 5,200 overnight stays during its 26th edition in October 2023.

Each edition of the Atlantica trade show represents an economic boon for the Niortais agglomeration, generating approximately €1.24 million in revenue and leading to 5,200 overnight stays in the area, according to a study on the 26th edition in October 2023. Despite a slight decrease in attendance due to a difficult national context, the event's core value lies in the successful business deals made by exhibitors.
Pascal Tingaud, vice-president of the Departmental Federation of Outdoor Hospitality of Charente-Maritime (FDHPA17) and head of the Atlantica organizing committee, highlights the importance of these returns. Gé Kuster, vice-president of the National Federation of Outdoor Hospitality (FNHPA), confirms this resilience, particularly after the fires in Gironde in August, noting that campsites are managing to maintain their season despite challenges.
Atlantica positions itself as a unique meeting point where campsite managers, tourism accommodation professionals, suppliers, and service providers can exchange ideas and discover the most effective and innovative products and services on the market to prepare for the upcoming season. The show showcases the latest trends shaping the future of tourism.
Committed to an eco-responsible approach since 2017, the Atlantica trade show has been recognized with the ISO 20121 certification in 2024 and 2025, an international standard for responsible event management. This commitment is reflected in waste sorting, reuse, material valorization, and the use of short supply chains.
The trade show will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2027 and will continue to be held in Niort in 2028. So Space Évènements and the FDHPA17 signed a three-year agreement in July of this year for the organization of the event for the next three years.
