The Gironde Department, through its Territorial Pole of Citizenship, is inviting sports associations from the Bassin and Val de l’Eyre sector to an awareness session focused on the prevention and fight against violence. The event, aimed at leaders, educators, and sports animators, will take place on Monday, October 5th, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, at the Club House, 5 rue de la Verrerie in Biganos.
This meeting aims to reaffirm the crucial role of sports educators in identifying early warning signs in young people. It will also recall the correct reflexes to adopt and the reporting procedures for sports professionals.
The objective is also to share concrete action ideas and disseminate available local resources. Emphasis will be placed on providing the keys to ensure the practice of physical and sports activities in a safe environment, free from any form of violence, whether physical or moral, as well as discriminatory behaviors.
