Following the violence and vandalism on October 24th, the services of the City and Metropolis of Bordeaux intervened overnight to clean and secure the affected areas.

Cleanliness and road maintenance crews worked from the night of October 24th to 25th to remove debris, clean roads and sidewalks, and secure vandalized businesses and disrupted construction sites. Operations continue to remove numerous graffiti from the ground, facades, and monuments, replace damaged street furniture, and repair damaged paving. It will take several days to clean everything and restore it to order.
Many businesses in Bordeaux's city center had preemptively closed their shutters. The damage observed concerns about ten of them, which were vandalized or looted. City services remain available to support shopkeepers on a case-by-case basis.
