The town of Bruges has retained its three flowers in the national "Villes et Villages Fleuris" label and has also received the Regional Prize for Sustainable and Virtuous Development for the Frida Kahlo school group.

Following the jury's visit this summer, the Council of "Villes et Villages Fleuris" (Flowered Towns and Villages) has announced its decision: Bruges retains its 3rd flower. This label rewards the commitment of municipalities to improving quality of life, respecting the environment, preserving social cohesion, as well as the overall attractiveness strategy implemented through flowering, landscaping, and greenery.
The jury also awarded the Regional Prize for Sustainable and Virtuous Development to the Frida Kahlo school group.
