Facing the challenges of an aging population, the Communauté de communes du Créonnais is organizing a meeting titled 'Living Well at Home in Créonnais'. The goal is to ensure seniors can live safely in their homes, combat social isolation, and support family caregivers.
The event, taking place on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 6 PM at the Community of Communes premises (5, chemin de la Douve in Créon), will feature a dynamic format centered around a concrete case study: the life journey of a fictional couple, 'Jean and Marie', facing loss of autonomy.
At each stage of this narrative, institutional and local partners will illustrate the synergy of their interventions. Participants will include: the Department of Gironde (APA, CLIC), communal and intercommunal actors (CCAS of Créon, CIAS of Créonnais), health and medico-social professionals (CPTS, CRT and PFR of Hameau de la Pelou), and social connection actors (MONALISA citizen team).
The conference will be followed by a Q&A session with the audience and a friendly reception.
