As part of a partnership with When East Meets West (WEMW), ALCA is offering to financially support two producers from Nouvelle-Aquitaine to participate in the Inspirational Labs. These workshops will take place from January 17 to 19, 2027, in Trieste, Italy. The aim is to enable professionals to develop their practices, explore new perspectives, and meet international professionals.
For the 2027 edition, eight themes will be covered: artificial intelligence, animation, fiction series, documentary series, genre cinema, impact strategies, leadership, and private financing. The participation package covered by ALCA includes three nights' accommodation, Lab participation, market accreditation, and airport transfers and certain meals organized by WEMW.
Applications will be jointly reviewed by WEMW and ALCA. It is noted that When East Meets West is an international co-production market open to all film and audiovisual professionals. The partnership with ALCA specifically covers the financial support for two participants.
