The DRAAF, DREETS, and ARCMSA Nouvelle-Aquitaine have signed a five-year agreement to enhance occupational health and safety prevention within agricultural education institutions in the region.

This agreement, concluded for a period of five years, reflects the shared commitment of the DRAAF (Regional Directorate for Food, Agriculture and Forestry), the DREETS (Regional Directorate for Economy, Employment, Labour and Solidarity), and ARCMSA Nouvelle-Aquitaine (Regional Association of Agricultural Social Mutual Funds) to sustainably support agricultural education institutions. The goal is to foster a strong culture of prevention among both teaching staff and students.
The objective is to raise awareness among young people about occupational health and safety issues from their theoretical and practical training. Future professionals will thus be equipped to better analyze work situations, assess risks related to their activities, and become active participants in their own health and safety at work.
The agreement outlines four key areas of action: communication among partners and with educational institutions, awareness-raising and training, support for transitions, and the collection and analysis of data concerning health and safety.
This collective mobilization aims to promote high-performing, sustainable agriculture that respects the physical, mental, and social well-being of the people who sustain it.
