In response to various forms of violence, abuse, or neglect – whether physical, psychological, sexual, financial, material, or institutional – a new listening and advice number is now available: 3133. This free service is accessible 7 days a week, from 9 am to 8 pm.
The 3133 helpline is for anyone who is a victim or witness to a mistreatment situation concerning an elderly person, an adult with a disability, an adult in a precarious situation, as well as their loved ones, caregivers, or anyone concerned about a vulnerable person.
A professional analyzes each situation. If mistreatment facts are confirmed, the report is transmitted to the competent authority, such as the regional health agency, the departmental council, or the departmental directorate for employment, work, and solidarity. Applicants are informed of their request's progress via email.
In other cases, callers are directed to the most appropriate contacts for their situation. To schedule a call or request a callback, an online form is available on the town hall's website.
Special attention is given to deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals, for whom the number is also accessible via a dedicated link on the website.
