The national Social and Solidarity Economy (ESS) forum will be held in Niort on November 17-18, 2026, under the theme "Building Territory Together", coordinated by CRESS Nouvelle-Aquitaine.

The new edition of the national forum, organized by CRESS Nouvelle-Aquitaine, will take place in Niort on November 17 and 18. The event aims to equip participants to build a common culture and act collectively. The guiding theme for this 2026 edition will be "Building Territory Together".
Coordinated by CRESS Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the forum is co-constructed with local structures and supported by ESS partners such as Niort agglo, the Région, and Apec. The 2026 edition intends to reaffirm the concrete contribution of the ESS and will result in the development of a solutions booklet, gathering inspiring initiatives and tangible responses to current societal challenges. An "off of third places" will also showcase concrete aspects of the ESS.
ESS stakeholders and those seeking alternatives will find practical workshops at the forum to train themselves, evolve their economic model, and strengthen their territorial presence. The program includes: discovering the ESS through an educational kit, optimizing organizations with sessions on consent-based decision-making and gender equality, finding virtuous and European funding, developing digital skills with open-source software and responsible AI, learning storytelling for the ESS, and developing action plans for employment and the inclusion of people with disabilities.
An experimental role-playing workshop will allow participants to explore the interdependencies between planetary limits and societal needs.
