The Pompignac town hall is calling on residents to come forward now to report damages observed following the 2026 drought.

The municipality of Pompignac invites residents affected by the 2026 drought to make themselves known to the town hall. This step is crucial for identifying the affected properties and compiling a file for a request for natural disaster status recognition with the Prefecture.
To do so, declarations must be sent exclusively by email to urbanisme@pompignac.fr. The report must include the individual's full contact details (address, email address, and phone number), a precise description of the observed damages, and photographs attesting to the issues.
It is reminded that this declaration to the town hall is separate from and complementary to the damage claim to be made with one's own insurance company.
The municipality will submit the request for natural disaster status recognition starting from January 2027. However, the final decision rests exclusively with the State and cannot be guaranteed by the municipality.
