For two years, this vehicle has been serving the community by delivering meals to the homes of the elderly and disabled. The inauguration saw several local businesses renew their commitment, joined by new partners, whose participation helps finance the vehicle and links the local economy to a vital resident service.
Between 60 and 70 Couzeix residents benefit daily from this service. Deliveries are made year-round, including weekends, with meals for Saturday and Sunday delivered cold on Friday afternoons. Beyond meal delivery, these rounds also maintain regular contact and social connection with beneficiaries.
The Town specifically thanked Marilyne Ribièrre, the daily driver, for her consistency and care, which significantly contribute to the quality of this local service. Gratitude was also extended to the CCAS staff and all partner businesses for their ongoing support and dedication.
