The month of October is traditionally dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer. In Aire-sur-l'Adour, local associations are actively mobilizing for this cause, offering a varied program of initiatives throughout the month of 2026.
Various events are scheduled to mark this Pink October. The Don Libre Bridge Club and VA Omnisports will provide donation boxes for free contributions, while VA Omnisports will also offer a sale of goodies.
On Sunday, October 18, Aire Rando is organizing a Pink Walk. Two routes, 5 or 7 km, will start from in front of the Aire sur l’Adour town hall at 10 a.m., inviting participants to walk together to support the mobilization.
On Friday, October 23, the association UC2A will present a fashion show at the Animation Center at 7 p.m. A refreshment stand and tapas will also be available to accompany this convivial evening.
On Saturday, October 24, the Imagin’Aire festival, organized by Airtistic, joins the event with the creative workshop "La vie en rose" (Life in Pink), offered at 2:30 p.m.
Through these various initiatives, the town of Aire-sur-l'Adour and its associations share a common goal: to raise awareness, inform, and unite around the fight against breast cancer.
