The « Tout Beau Tout Bois » event will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, in Morcenx-la-Nouvelle. This professional and associative meeting day will highlight the theme of wood through four round tables.
Starting at 10:00 AM, the first round table will address « Timber-framed houses: understanding and restoring them », with contributions from Lauriane Tarascou (CAUE) and Didier Deschamps (Maisons Paysannes de France).
At 11:30 AM, the discussion will focus on « Benefiting from wood: burnt wood (Shou Sugi Ban) or natural pine tar », featuring Régis Pommier (12M) and Frédéric Delesalle (Black Barn).
The afternoon will begin at 2:15 PM with the round table « Trades in the field: Architect, Carpenter, Sawyer », bringing together Elodie Lataste (Lala Architecture), Patrick Charbonnier (master carpenter), and Frédéric Léonard (Scierie de la Grande Lande).
Finally, at 3:45 PM, the last round table will explore the theme « Wood Earth Straw, the new BTP », with the participation of Alizée Cugney (Dorodango Architecture) and Fréderic Fourcade (Maisons landaises Canopée).
