From 9:30 AM, the municipal stadium in Morcenx-la-Nouvelle will be the meeting point for walkers and runners wishing to participate in a sporting and solidarity morning. The event features a 2.5 km loop course, adaptable to all paces, allowing for distances of 2.5 km, 5 km, 7.5 km, or 10 km. The finish line is at the bandstand, Place Aristide-Briand.
A new feature this year, the « Ruban Challenge » (Ribbon Challenge), invites all participants to form a giant human Pink Ribbon before the start. An aerial photograph will capture this significant moment, with the simple goal of gathering as many people as possible around the international symbol for the fight against breast cancer.
Registration is open at the Tourist Office. Fees are €10 for adults, including a t-shirt and goodies while stocks last, and €5 for children up to 12 years old, who will receive a scarf. Additional goodies are available for €5.
The event is open to everyone, whether you are a regular athlete, an occasional walker, or simply wish to support the cause. The focus is on participation and supporting the fight against breast cancer, with no timing or performance pressure.
