The Business Club and the municipal team of Foulayronnes are pleased to welcome Hélène Deshaies, who has just established her company in the town. Animal-assisted mediation, her area of expertise, relies on the human-animal relationship to promote well-being, social connection, communication, self-confidence, and learning.
Accompanied by dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs, Hélène Deshaies offers sessions tailored to the pace and well-being of each individual. Her services cater to children, adolescents, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities or vulnerabilities, within educational, social, and medico-social sectors.
Services include therapeutic animal-assisted mediation in individual or group sessions, educational activities for schools and leisure centers, the PECCRAM program for bite prevention for children aged 3-12, LAC (Reading With the Dog) for young readers facing difficulties, animal welfare awareness, and desensitization to dog phobia (cynophobia).
Each project is custom-built in collaboration with partner structures such as schools, leisure centers, nursing homes (EHPAD), medico-social facilities, and associations.
