Rehabilitated playground in Oloron-Sainte-Marie with sports equipment and a convivial space.

The playground at the former Saint-Pée school in Oloron-Sainte-Marie has been inaugurated after rehabilitation, becoming a sports and convivial place for all residents.

As part of the 5th Participatory Budget of Oloron Sainte-Marie, the playground at the former Saint-Pée school has been rehabilitated. This project, championed by three local citizens, Sylvie Ibarroule, Thomas Sagaspe, and Céline Larrieu, has transformed a 350 m² area.
With a budget of €20,000, the area has been completely redeveloped to offer a sports, convivial, and accessible space. The work included paving the 350 m², ensuring access to rooms with PMR accessibility, installing new football goals and basketball hoops, and adding a picnic table in the green space.
This rehabilitation aims to make the former Saint-Pée school a true living space, open to families, groups of friends, and all neighborhood residents.

Now, for the 6th Participatory Budget! Project submissions are open from this Monday, October 5th, until November 5th, 2026.

This initiative represents a new opportunity for residents to propose their ideas and actively contribute to improving life in Oloron Sainte-Marie.
