A group of young people from Fontaine-le-Comte, aged from CM1 to 15 years old, attend monthly meetings at the town hall with a facilitator and municipal elected officials. These meetings aim to voice the ideas, needs, and desires of young people, involving them in community life. Projects proposed by the CMJ can lead to real developments or improvements within the commune.
The young elected officials commit to representing their peers, giving their opinions, and participating in CMJ meetings. Participation is voluntary, without strict obligation, but an engagement to contribute as much as possible is expected. The mandate for elected officials is 2 years, renewable once.
The elections will take place on Saturday, December 5, from 10 AM to 12 PM, in the hall of the Fontaine Town Hall. Twelve young people will be elected. The vote will be held in a single round. Proxy voting requests must be submitted to William BOINOT by Friday, December 4 at the latest.
To be an elector or candidate, one must reside in Fontaine-le-Comte, complete a specific form, obtain parental authorization, and submit it to the town hall with proof of residence before Wednesday, November 18, 2026. The age requirement for voting or running is from CM1 up to 15 years old.
For any questions or to register, you can contact William BOINOT via email at william.boinot@fontaine-le-comte.fr or by phone at 05 49 62 67 05.
