The Communauté de communes Aunis Atlantique has launched an innovative project to rediscover local built heritage through totems and plaques featuring QR codes.

This summer, new totems and plaques titled 'Patrimoine de l’Aunis' (Heritage of Aunis) were installed in villages, inviting residents and visitors to explore local history interactively.
By scanning the QR code on each totem or plaque with a smartphone, users can delve into the secrets, stories, and anecdotes of historical sites, such as stained-glass windows or ancient burial mounds, that might have gone unnoticed.
This project, a collaboration with Le Comptoir Local and the CdC Aunis Atlantique, aims to highlight the richness of the built heritage and encourage a fresh perspective on daily surroundings.
An interactive map is also available to help plan future walks and discover these hidden treasures.
