The new distance learning campus of CARA, launched in September 2024, opened its doors in September 2026 at the Institut de Formation de Royan. This project aims to provide an environment conducive to exchange and support for individuals pursuing online training, particularly in sports, leisure, and well-being professions.
Twelve students are already benefiting from this new space, which offers them workspaces and high-speed internet access. A coordinator is present on-site to assist them with work organization and administrative tasks.
CARA's objective is to facilitate access to and continuation of studies for residents of the territory, without requiring them to relocate. This entirely free campus offers a suitable and motivating setting to combat isolation and pursue courses up to a Bac+5 diploma.
The campus is located at the Institut de Formation de Royan building, 48, boulevard Franck Lamy – 17200 Royan. For more information, contact Frédéric KHADAOUI, campus coordinator, at 05 86 87 00 20 or via email at campus@agglo-royan.fr.
