Following the opening of its first dog space in 2025, the municipality of Puilboreau continues its commitment to harmonious community living with the creation of a new area dedicated to dogs. This 650 m² facility is situated near the cycle path connecting Pablo Picasso street to Eugène-Delacroix street.
From mid-October, residents can enjoy this fenced space, designed to allow dogs to run, play, and expend energy off-leash in a secure environment. This new development serves a dual purpose: offering dog owners a suitable place for walks and playtime with their pets, while also improving the safety and tranquility of nearby pedestrians and cyclists.
By providing a space specifically for canine activities, the municipality aims to facilitate coexistence among different users and reduce awkward situations around pedestrian and cycle paths. This new facility complements the existing offering at the Bois de la Tourtillère.
To ensure everyone can fully enjoy this space, a few simple rules are essential. Owners are particularly invited to respect the premises and other users by systematically cleaning up after their pets, both inside and outside the dog area. Failure to comply with this obligation may result in a fine.
