From October 21 to November 1, the Festival of Contemporary Arts stops in Saint-Martin-de-Ré and Ars-en-Ré, offering a free exhibition of 40 works by 32 artists.

The M'LART association is organizing the 14th edition of the Festival of Contemporary Arts, which will take place from October 21 to November 1, 2026. The event will feature around forty artworks spread across Saint-Martin-de-Ré and Ars-en-Ré.
This year, the festival explores the notion of 'links'. Exhibitions will be held in several emblematic locations in Saint-Martin-de-Ré, including the Ernest Cognacq Museum, the Saint Louis powder magazine, and the Salle des mariages. For the first time, the festival extends to La Criée, an exhibition space dedicated to visual arts inaugurated last April on the port of Ars-en-Ré.
Visitors can discover the work of 32 artists across various disciplines such as photography, painting, and ceramics. Admission to the festival is free.
