Vals de Saintonge Communauté is expanding its local offering with the opening of two new France Services sites in Tonnay-Boutonne and Saint-Savinien, bringing the total network to five access points in the area. These new centers, operational since September 14, 2026, aim to simplify citizens' daily administrative procedures.
France Services advisors provide human and personalized support to assist users with their procedures, whether it's preparing for retirement, registering with France Travail, creating a CV, declaring income, or completing administrative title-related tasks like vehicle registration or driving licenses. The network's 12 national partners, including Caf, France Titres, Assurance Maladie, and France Travail, support advisors in case management.
These new sites also offer access to digital equipment, enabling users to create email addresses, use online administrative services, scan or print documents, and perform simulations. Assistance is free and walk-in, although appointments are encouraged.
The opening of these two sites complements the existing services, notably the France Services in Matha (opened February 1, 2021) and the mobile services organized in Néré and Brizambourg since June 2024. These mobile access points assisted 175 users in 2025, compared to 76 in 2024, indicating growing usage.
The objective is to offer multiple access points to public services, considering the geography of Vals de Saintonge and residents' needs, in complementarity with other local structures such as the CIAS of Vals de Saintonge and La Poste's points.
