Between October and December 2026, soft mobility link development works will be carried out on the Chemin de la Source in Vaux-sur-Mer. This construction site will cause disruptions to access to the community gardens and the footbridge connecting Vaux-sur-Mer to the Henri Dunant college in Royan.
The footbridge will be temporarily closed for the entire duration of the works, from early October to mid-December 2026. Pedestrians and cyclists will have to use a detour route, resulting in a longer journey than usual.
Access to the community gardens will also be disrupted and may be temporarily interrupted. A detour route will be provided to reach the plots when necessary.
The City is aware of the inconvenience caused and thanks users for their understanding. For everyone's safety, please respect the signage and instructions put in place around the construction site. These developments aim to durably improve the travel conditions for pedestrians and cyclists.
