The town of Chalais, in partnership with the Amicale laïque, is hosting an unprecedented theatrical performance titled "La Friche." This play, written by Luisa Campanile, raises the question of the value of projects carried by young idealists against the appetite of real estate developers.
The show, which intimately links poetry and politics, is directed and performed by the Théâtre de l’Orme, based in Barbezieux. It will take place at the Espace Arc-en-Ciel, in Chalais, on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, starting at 9 PM.
