Founded in 2020, Blink Blank, the animation film review, is the first regular French-language publication dedicated to animation film and its challenges. The 14th issue will be released on October 13, 2026. Magelis has been a partner since the magazine's first issue.
This new issue features a thematic dossier on the relationship between city and country in animated cinema, including analyses of recent films such as Le Corset and Fleur.
The latest news in animated films and series is also covered with titles like Carmen l’oiseau rebelle by Sébastien Laudenbach, Le Fils de pute by Otto Guerra and Tania Anaya, Le Mystère Lucy Lost by Olivier Clert, Méli-mélo by Leah Nelson, La Violoniste by Ervin Han and Raúl Garcia, Un monde entre nous by Kohei Kadowski, Les Lapins Trois-Oreilles by Michel Ocelot, Daughters of the Late Colonel by Elizabeth Hobbs, La Robe peau by Joachim Hérissé, and Trace écrite by Don Hertzfeldt.
The table of contents also includes a focus on the profession of Director of Photography with Sara Sponga, a tribute to Marjane Satrapi, and a portfolio dedicated to Aurélie Pollet.
Blink Blank is published with the support of the aid schemes for magazines from the CNC and CNL.
