This partnership, which began in 2025, allows students from both schools to cross their creative universes and collaborate on original soundtracks for their final-year films. This experience is considered highly enriching, bringing future professionals closer to the realities of the audiovisual sector.
Following a successful first year focusing on composing music for Master 2 films, the two institutions have decided to continue this cooperation. Students have thus learned to work together, communicate their intentions, and listen to each other.
Beyond the educational aspect, this partnership offers students the opportunity to begin building their professional networks and meet future collaborators.
The EICMI is an associative school based in Châteauroux, offering a 3 to 5-year curriculum dedicated to musical creation for cinema, series, video games, and the metaverse.
Two films resulting from this collaboration were highlighted: Avant la nuit (Mathilde Cabias, Maÿlis Moritz, and Lilou Tanguy-Gaume) and Antisthène le chien (Hadrien Javelot), both produced within the framework of EMCA in 2026.
