The series Louca, created by Cyril Adam and produced by Media Valley and Belvision, will premiere on TF1 on Sunday, October 18, at 9:05 AM. Based on the comic book series by Bruno Dequier, published by Dupuis, a portion of its production was carried out in the studios of La Station Animation and Transperfect Media, located in Angoulême.
Aimed at children aged 6 to 10, the series comprises 26 episodes of 22 minutes each, plus one special 44-minute episode. It blends the genres of comedy and action.
The story follows Louca, an ordinary, shy, and clumsy teenager, prone to mishaps. His high school life and attempts to attract the attention of Julie are complicated by his nature. However, Louca is not alone: he is accompanied by Nathan, a ghost visible and audible only to Louca. Nathan, the charismatic and self-assured former captain of the school's football team, becomes Louca's coach and confidant.
Through Nathan's advice, Louca learns to believe in himself, develop his hidden talents, and push his limits. This unexpected friendship transforms an ordinary boy into a hero that young viewers can easily identify with and grow fond of.
The production of this fast-paced, funny, and touching series received support from the Department of Charente, Magelis, and the region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, with the assistance of ALCA and in partnership with the Centre National du Cinéma et de l’Image Animée.
