The Town of Le Teich is pleased to host the first edition of the Humanisme Vision Festival, a new event taking place from Saturday, September 26 to Sunday, November 8, 2026. This event sits at the crossroads of photography, art, ecology, and major societal issues, offering a rich program featuring French and international artists.
The festival invites attendees to take a different look at our relationship with the living world, the transformations of our environment, and the contemporary world. Three exhibitions will be presented at the L’EKLA Cultural Center throughout the festival period.
At the L’EKLA Cultural Center, visitors can discover Nouvelle ichtyologie contemporaine by Antonio Pérez, a 21st-century bestiary imagined from new fish species born from plastic pollution. Henri Blommers' exhibition Fool’s Gold will feature double-exposure images contrasting economic power with the fragility of the plant world. Finally, the collective exhibition Viva Amazônia! will bring together fifteen artists to affirm photography as a tool for awareness in the face of the climate emergency.
The Le Teich Ornithological Reserve will host the exhibition Flying Roots by Maria Solaguren, paying homage to the Bearded Vulture through trichrome cyanotypes. Additionally, the Salle Publique will present, from Wednesday, October 14 to Friday, October 16, the exhibition IPFA Awards 2025 – The 50 finalists, showcasing perspectives from international contemporary photography.
Several events will enrich the program. On Wednesday, October 7 at 2 PM, a family/youth tour will offer a different way to discover the exhibitions. On Friday, October 16 at 6:30 PM, the Brigade Poétique will present a reading-performance. Finally, on Saturday, October 24, an introduction to cyanotype will be offered with artist Maria Solaguren.
Humanisme Vision thus invites everyone to look, question, and reflect differently on our world and its transformations.
