The 4th edition of the Rallye du Goût, organized by the Agglo de Brive, presents a challenge to school cooks in the agglomeration: to prepare a dish or dessert based on squash.

This year, the culinary challenge focuses on squash, inviting school cooks to use varieties such as potimarron, butternut, spaghetti squash, or pumpkin. The choice is wide, allowing for ample creativity.
On Thursday, October 8, 2026, all preparations will be tasted and evaluated by a jury that will designate the three best creations. This year, 16 canteens are participating: Allassac, Brignac la Plaine, Brive, Chasteaux, Cublac, Donzenac, Larche, Mansac, Nespouls, Noailles, Perpezac le Blanc, Sadroc, Saint Cernin de Larche, Saint Viance, Ussac, and Vignols.
Prior to this challenge, a visit took place on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, to the farm of Charles and Colombe in Saint Aulaire. Participants were able to discover their organic produce, particularly the squash that is the central theme of this edition.
The awards ceremony for this rally will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 11:45 AM. It will take place during the Meetings of Collective Catering: organic, local, and quality, held at the Espace des 3 Provinces, in the presence of all participating cooks.
