After several months of preparation, administrative procedures, and recruitment, the new officer of the Ussac Municipal Police Force officially took up their duties on Monday, November 2, 2026. They were welcomed by Mayor Patrick Chanourdie and Philippe Cuynet, municipal councilor in charge of security.
The officer has already started work and will begin by meeting residents in the community. This launch represents an important milestone for the town, reflecting a clear commitment to increasing local presence, preventing incivilities, and contributing, alongside the National Gendarmerie, to the safety and tranquility of all.
The premises for this new service are located right next to the town hall, in the former premises of the Maison du Département.
