Five Creuse Craftsmanship Talents Honored in Aubusson

Over 60 people gathered on September 24, 2026, in Aubusson for the Trajectoires d’Exception awards, celebrating five Creuse artisans for their excellence and dedication.

The Chamber of Trades and Crafts Nouvelle-Aquitaine – Creuse celebrated five local craftsmanship talents at the Trajectoires d’Exception event on September 24, 2026. The gathering brought together over 60 attendees, including Paul Chaput, president of CMA Nouvelle-Aquitaine – Creuse, with support from Crédit Agricole Centre France.
Among the awardees, Clélia Nivelles, 21, is pursuing a BTM in Pastry, Confectionery, Ice Cream, and Catering through apprenticeship. After obtaining a CAP and a complementary mention in pastry, and an Erasmus experience in Oslo, she aims to open her own business.
In Aubusson, Marie-Valérie Chevalier-Ressot preserves the rare skill of needle tapestry, revitalizing it with a contemporary graphic style through her creations, kits, and training courses.
Also in Aubusson, Vincent Rullière champions pure artisanal pastry, crafting his own pastries, chocolates, ice creams, and viennoiseries while promoting local gastronomic heritage.
After a career change from healthcare, Audrey Lavergne established César’Phone in Maison-Feyne in 2025, specializing in repairing electronic devices to combat obsolescence and reduce technological waste.
The Communauté de communes du Pays Sostranien, represented by its president Étienne Lejeune, was recognized for its over twenty years of work in local economic development, including through the PeP’S 23 incubator.
The evening also featured the presentation of the Artisanal Recognition medals. Eight Creuse artisans were honored: Philippe Parnoix, Laure Bourliaud, Michaële Nosny, and Karine Aubrun (bronze); Madeleine Peyrot and Nicolas Dubois (silver); Corinne Clemençon and Francis Mathieu (gold).
The CMA also recognized Aurore Massicard, Laure Bourliaud, and Fabienne Mogue for joining the Artisans de l’Autonomie initiative, a certification that highlights artisans adapting their services for the elderly and disabled.
The five winners of Trajectoires d’Exception will represent Creuse at the regional competition in Bordeaux in November. The CMA Nouvelle-Aquitaine – Creuse continues its mission to support and promote the region's artisans.
