Following election campaigns conducted in the town's schools, 42 CM1 and CM2 students ran as candidates. Among them, 18 young Parthenay residents were elected to represent their classmates and make their voices heard within the new council.
The installation ceremony took place at the Palais des Congrès, where the newly elected officials received their tricolor sashes from the Mayor of Parthenay and other municipal representatives.
This new term is marked by numerous civic proposals. The young councillors presented diverse ideas, ranging from greening the city and creating cycle paths to installing more trash bins and protecting children against violence.
This commitment demonstrates a strong desire to participate in the conception and implementation of concrete projects for the future of Parthenay.
