The PEDT serves as an essential framework for improving coordination between schools, after-school teams, families, associations, and local partners. Its objective is to optimize the articulation of children's and young people's lives, from nursery to age 25, whether at school, during extracurricular and leisure activities, or within the family sphere.
This project defines the major orientations of the municipal educational policy, with the ambition to support individuals aged 3 to 25 in their development, foster their personal fulfillment, and contribute to their overall well-being.
A co-construction approach was prioritized for developing this new project. The City organized workshops bringing together various stakeholders, as well as exchange sessions with territorial actors involved in child welfare. These meetings facilitated the sharing of current observations, the collection of expressed needs, and the identification of seven key priorities for the next three years.
These priorities include respecting children's rhythms and needs in collective settings, strengthening the expression and participation of children and young people, improving support for adolescents aged 14 to 16, enhancing coherence among educational actors, reinforcing solidarity around children and their families, preventing risks and promoting mental health and positive coexistence, and using nutrition as a lever for education, health, and equality.
