The Mériadeck Ice Rink in Bordeaux has undergone the replacement of its cooling towers, a project managed by BMA to enhance health safety and optimize ice quality.

As part of its mandate for the city of Bordeaux, BMA has overseen the replacement of the Mériadeck Ice Rink's cooling towers. This initiative serves a dual purpose: preventing health risks and improving ice quality.
The two former open cooling towers have been replaced by larger, closed adiabatic towers. These new installations required a significant expansion of the existing technical pit, increasing its area from 30 to 90 m² and its volume from 120 to 300 m³.
A patinated copper cladding has been applied to integrate the new equipment with the existing architecture, in coordination with the Architects of the French Buildings.
The project's construction management was handled by Éric Fouché, Fournie Ingénierie, BD Fluides, Man Conseil, Batisfaire, and Eugee.
