The town hall of Carcans invites citizens wishing to get involved in local life to become the voice of their neighborhood. This new proximity initiative aims to enhance dialogue between the municipality and its residents.
Neighborhood delegates will be tasked with listening to residents, collecting their remarks and expectations, and relaying the needs and concerns of each area to elected officials.
Currently, 8 representatives out of the planned 25 have volunteered. The municipality therefore wishes to continue mobilization to ensure representation in every neighborhood.
Individuals interested in contributing to local life, improving their neighborhood, and participating in this civic initiative are encouraged to apply or identify potential volunteers among their acquaintances.
A co-option of volunteers will take place on September 11.
The first meeting of the neighborhood delegates will be held on Friday, October 30 at 7:30 PM in the Municipal Council hall.
Everyone's participation is considered essential to sustain this proximity initiative and strengthen the bond between residents and the municipality.
