Following a successful first edition in 2025, the Communal Center for Social Action (CCAS) of Cestas, in collaboration with the Town Council, is renewing its participation in Blue Week. This national event, dedicated to the elderly and valuing their place in society, will take place from October 5 to 9, 2026.
Under the theme 'Let's Connect All Ages in Committed Territories', this second edition aims to foster encounters, sharing, and well-being. Blue Week is a national opportunity to offer moments of exchange on healthy aging and intergenerational connection. In Cestas, it is open to all to discover new activities and share convivial moments.
The Cestas CCAS will offer several free activities focused on well-being, prevention, leisure, and social connection. The program includes: a 'Marche Bleue' (Blue Walk), a sophrology discovery session, a games library session, gentle gymnastics with fall prevention, a manual craft activity, and a belote card game competition.
The detailed program, including specific dates, times, and locations, will be announced soon. All activities are free and accessible to the entire population. This event is a special time to meet, share, and connect generations in a spirit of conviviality.
