The DREETS Nouvelle-Aquitaine has launched a regional call for projects, funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), aimed at preventing school dropout and securing pathways for young people, particularly apprentices, with a budget of 5 million euros. The application deadline is set for January 14, 2027.

As part of its priority 2, the national ESF+ program aims to improve young people's access to employment and their employability through educational success. Specific Objective (SO) F seeks to promote equal access and completion of education or training pathways.
Given the notable rate of young people in Nouvelle-Aquitaine without qualifications (excluding the brevet) and reported dropout incidents among apprentices, this call for projects targets young individuals showing strong signs of disengagement but who have not yet fully dropped out. Projects must address the obstacles faced by these young people to ensure they can complete their educational journey.
The targeted actions include prevention and combating dropout, support for remedial education, assistance for the schooling of children from nomadic families or those experiencing housing difficulties, and support for schools labeled "cordées de la réussite" and "internats d’excellence." It also covers support for the success of apprentices and trainees under 30, facilitating connections with companies, promoting a culture of occupational risk prevention, and supporting cross-border mobility.
Any competent and experienced structure in the field is eligible. European mobility projects are exclusively for CFA-OFA. Collaborative operations are permitted, with a limit of 5 partners. The target audience includes primary and secondary school students, as well as apprentices under 30 at risk of dropping out.
The operational period for these projects is from September 1, 2027, to August 31, 2028. The available budget is €5,000,000. A presentation webinar will be held on Thursday, November 26, 2026, at 10:00 AM, with mandatory registration. Individual meetings may be requested after this event.
