The Belvédère program offers intensive support to literary creators residing in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. It includes two and a half days of in-person collective work, focusing on reading the works-in-progress aloud, followed by a morning session with a professional committee.
Following the session, a video conference follow-up will address progress and any persistent challenges. An additional one-day à la carte support is also provided by Le Bottom Théâtre for long-term guidance.
To be eligible, applicants must reside in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, have published at least one book with a publishing house in the last five years, and have a literary creation project in progress. They must commit to attending the entire selected session.
ALCA will cover travel, accommodation, and catering expenses for the selected authors. Host structures will provide individual rooms, and ALCA will supply the latest books by the selected authors, purchased from independent bookstores.
Three sessions are scheduled for 2027: February 2-5 at the Chalet Mauriac in Saint-Symphorien (33), April 27-30 at En avant-première in Surgères (17), and September 14-17 at the Ferme de Villefavard (87).
Applications must be submitted via the online form by November 12, 2026. The selection committee will meet on November 17, and responses will be sent between November 18 and 20.
