COBAN is launching a call for applications to renew the 'Residents' college of the Pays BARVAL Development Council, a citizen consultation body.

The Communauté d'agglomération du Bassin d'Arcachon Nord (COBAN) is proceeding with the renewal of the 'Residents' college within the Pays BARVAL Development Council (CODEV). This body brings together three intercommunalities – COBAS, COBAN, and the CdC Vale de l’Eyre – and aims to promote citizen participation in discussions about the territory's future.
The Development Council is a consultative and proposal-making body on major local public policy orientations. It is composed of representatives from civil society, providing citizen expertise to enrich the work of the intercommunalities and inform elected officials. The 'Residents' college works alongside representatives of associations, social and economic actors, and public organizations.
All adult individuals residing in the territory of COBAS, COBAN, or the Communauté de Communes du Val de l’Eyre are eligible, provided they do not hold a local elected official mandate and are not already members as representatives of an association or other organization. Participation is based on voluntary and unpaid commitment.
Those wishing to participate in the new 'Residents' college for the COBAN territory must submit their application before Thursday, October 22, 2026. The call for applications and participation form are available for download on the COBAN website.
