Prevention measures remain in effect throughout the department. Specifically, it is forbidden to use thermal brush-clearing tools such as blowtorches, to burn green waste in the open air, and to use flying lanterns.
In exposed areas of predominantly forest communes, including within a 200-meter radius of these areas, reinforced prohibitions apply. These include the prohibition of open-air fires, carrying fire, smoking, and discarding any incandescent debris.
Access to burnt areas remains prohibited for the public. However, exemptions are provided for individuals with a legitimate interest in accessing these areas, such as owners, managers, forestry companies, agricultural operators, wood transporters, and public service agents performing their duties.
These measures will remain in effect until the situation and the alert level are reassessed.
