Following previous projects aimed at improving passenger comfort, accessibility, and journey flow, Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport is entering a significant construction phase. This ambitious project intends to transform the departure experience for passengers.
As of September 16, 2026, internal circulation between Halls A and B is suspended for both departures and arrivals. Travel between the halls must now be done externally. Dedicated signage and on-site staff will guide passengers and answer questions throughout the construction period.
The Air France lounge, located in the boarding area of Hall B, is currently closed. However, for departures from Hall A, the airport lounge remains open.
Additionally, the Baillardran point of sale has been relocated next to the Starbucks terrace in Hall A, effective September 16, 2026.
