Grand Cubzaguais, situated along the Dordogne river and the Gironde estuary, is directly concerned by flood risk. Its municipalities are involved in the reflection process for the entire estuary, with the PAPI perimeter extending up the Dordogne to Asques.
To develop this second action program (PAPI 2), SMIDDEST (Syndicat Mixte pour le Développement Durable de l’Estuaire de la Gironde), a Public Basin Territorial Establishment (EPTB), aims to understand how individuals experience this risk daily. The survey, open to all, seeks to build a coherent program adapted to local realities.
SMIDDEST's primary mission is flood risk prevention. With extensive hydraulic studies conducted on the estuary since 2006, it ensures project coherence and the protection of people and property.
The questionnaire is accessible online for free and anonymously. To learn more about SMIDDEST and its missions, visit www.smiddest.fr.
