The research project Courir les bois, focused on forests and their transformation by human activity, culminates in 2027 with the creation Coureurs des Landes. This ambulatory work, the result of a two-week residency in the region, combines tree climbing, documentary dramaturgy, and sound creation.
Six artists from various disciplines immersed themselves in the heart of the forest to explore verticality, memory, and the link between the human body and the plant body. The result is an experience shared with the public, a poetic journey to the treetops.
Climbing, far from being a mere spectacular gesture, becomes an ancestral skill here, intertwined with words, stories, and landscape fantasies. This collective journey invites dialogue with current forests and reflection on the mutual transformation between humans and the landscape.
The residency's output event is scheduled for October 16, 2026, at 6:30 PM, at the Place du Village in Sore (40). The performance duration is approximately 1 hour.
