The Centre Communal d’Action Sociale (CCAS) of La Brède has implemented an initiative for young residents. This scheme allows 16 to 17-year-old adolescents to earn money while engaging in general interest missions. These tasks take place over half a day during school holidays.
Participating youths will join a municipal service team, supervised by a tutor who will guide them in their tasks, which may include administrative services or building maintenance for the municipality.
Each mission, lasting 3 hours, will be compensated with €15. To be eligible, young people must have reached the age of 16 at the start of the mission and be under 18, be residing in La Brède, and be enrolled in school.
