To encourage civic participation from a young age, the Ludon-Médoc town hall is opening applications for its Youth Municipal Council. This initiative aims to give young people a voice and actively involve them in decisions concerning their community.
Children attending 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade, who have ideas and aspirations for their town, are encouraged to become spokespersons for their generation. The application period runs from September 16 to October 7, 2026. Applications can be submitted at the town hall or directly at the school.
The elections for the young council members will take place on Thursday, November 5, 2026. On this occasion, students will visit the town hall accompanied by their teachers to cast their votes.
An explanatory booklet, including the application form, has been distributed in all relevant classes. It is also available for download.
