The company RTE, Réseau de Transport d’Electricité, has launched a public consultation regarding the GiLA project. This initiative aims to establish a new underwater and underground electrical line connecting the Gironde region to Loire-Atlantique.
This consultation is taking place across the departments of Loire-Atlantique and Gironde, and includes public meetings and information sessions.
An information session will be held in the commune of Ludon-Médoc on Wednesday, October 14th, from 2 PM to 5 PM, in the Agora hall.
The project previously underwent a preliminary consultation from March 18th to May 30th, 2025, under the guidance of the National Commission for Public Debate (CNDP). The assessment of this phase, along with reports from workshops and meetings, is available.
